Sara is a good friend of mine and a woman I admire for endurance and spirit. It was awesome to be able to meet all of her adorable children and see them all interact. Moving and Extending!

Because there are so many of you faithful, awesome clients, I will STILL be serving Utah County! You'll just have to book early, of course, and I'll cluster shoots when I come back to visit family and take sessions. Leave a note or email me if you want to be on the "head's up list" to when I'll be visiting Utah. Incentives will be given for clustered sessions, or multiple bookings. After 3 months of my husband commuting to his new job, the kids and I are SO excited to finally join him in Texas. He has been flying for Continental Express as a pilot, and we miss him!! I'm looking forward to photographing beautiful Texas with Blue Bonnets, beaches, open fields, and amazing skies! And, by the way, they make the best ice cream in the world, hands down : ) and that makes me happy!

I love this shoot! Such a fun girl and fun to have mom come along. Kyrsten is a big time competitive debater in high school and travels everywhere. So, we did a few at the courthouse to portray her talent. The rain broke perfectly in just enough time to do our session, and then come back at the end for some fun rain shots in her homecoming dress. Loved it. Such a fun shoot! Thanks girls!

I was asked to document some of the relationships with this sweet woman, as she is approaching the end of her days in this life. What a beautiful, thing to watch children and grandchildren surround her, and one by one embrace her. I loved hearing them share stories of her with me. I learned a lot about this loving family being with them that day, and hope I have that love around me as I leave this world. What an angel, and such a legacy she's left for all those who know her. How inspiring.

All grown up

This sweet girl was 14 when I first met her. I had just gotten married myself, and she lived just a street away. She used to babysit for us when we had our first little boy. Now, she has her own little girl. Wow, how time flies! She's all grown up and is such a kind, beautiful girl. I was able to go to her wedding, and brought my camera at the last minute, so I stole a couple of shots. So good to see you, Lisa!

Such a fun birthday party we had tonight! I brought my camera at the last minute and am glad I did. Water balloon baseball with a splash blow-up pool for home base. It was hilarious. I love this family--such good friends. These are just a few pics of the birthday boy and his beautiful mom and good friends after the party was over.

My beautiful cousin and her amazingly supportive husband welcomed their first precious child this year. They were so excited and sweet to each other through this experience. I was honored to be their doula and coach her through labor, as well as capture some memories for them. We all labored with her at home for 2 days before this little angel came. Most of the first images of her laboring were at night only by candlelight. She spend hours and hours laboring in the water. I'm amazed at how good she looks for not having slept for 2 days! What loving families will do for these little ones : ) I love making these slideshows and think that images to music are so powerful! Take a look! Wow, these were taken a while ago, but we are finally done with all the editing requests. Over 15 head swaps and lots of little faces : ) Adorable cousins! I took many of these rolling around on my 9 month pregnant belly, 1 week before I delivered! Pretty eventful and full of adventure. I'm looking forward to taking more portraits for you! Maybe next time, I will not have a big belly to roll over :)

Last minute

Cousins, cousins! My sister-in-law and her family came from Pittsburgh over the weekend, and we got some last minute shots of all the cousins before they left. We obviously weren't planning matching outfits, just ran down to the studio and spent literally 5 minutes. I love how little Keira in the middle is getting choked by the end. Here are a few...haha.

This last one is of the Hoke family. Their oldest son, Cade, is a die hard Pittsburgh Steeler's fan, as you can see by his shirt. Well, ya, his daddy has only won the Superbowl twice!

This adorable couple have 10 kids between the 2 of them. Adding 2 in-laws to that and 1 granddaughter makes for a pretty fun session! I was able to be a second shooter for this session, and run around with some of the kids. I forget how fast 2 year olds can run! My amazing sister, Mandi, and her husband, Matt, beautifully demonstrated the labor and delivery of their first baby girl. She was so relaxed and calm, and he was completely supportive and loving. The shot of Matt pressing on her knees was what we did most of labor, which took tremendous pressure away. I was priviledged to be her doula (labor support) as well as photographer. I've worked in Labor and Delivery as an RN for 5 years, so it's like a part of home to me : ) I'm so blessed to have been able to share this miraculous experience with you three. Love you!

Sweet little London Rose barely fit into her Christmas stocking. Lisa and I (gently) pushed and shoved for a few minutes till she finally slid inside. One more milk feeding and her little belly wouldn't have made it! Darling! Christmas babies are so much fun!! Merry Christmas guys!
